Visits to LA

Elizabeth Maxwell
Heather O'Leary

So… Heather is in town. She came without any clothes on her back, or anything else. Hmm…

Elizabeth Maxwell looks around at the shops, staying close, in case of any problem from the uniforms as a disguise, and keeping heading north. "Just north, up on 4th street, we can change…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "Good."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles a little, and heads onward. "After that, where all you want to go, other than your apartment?"

Heather O'Leary shrugs, slightly, "Well, I need a few pairs of jeans, some underwear, some Shirts. Things that don't try to display all my charms, at least, not to the naked eye."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit. "Ah… I can imagine, trying to stay conservative in clothes too small is impossible…"

Heather O'Leary moves north.

Heather O'Leary chuckles, "Impossible is one word for it. Some of the men up there act like they have never seen a Playboy, by the way they gawk at half-naked women. As for conservative, I prefer to wear things that have room to move, because I never know when I might need to defend myself. But Skirts are not really appropriate, unless I don't mind showing off all my legs, and panties if I needed to kick something." She shrugs, and smiles, "But I've been known to wear the occasional Mini-Skirt. I have to do that now, instead of wait until my body rebels and gains weight when I get older."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little bit, laughing at the last part. "Ah… And I know for a fact that Playboy issues are one of the things they're getting from New York once in a while. Still, probably the difference between a picture and someone live and interesting."

Heather O'Leary mutters, "Could be worse… at least Playboy is mostly articles." She smiles at Elizabeth, "Trust me, it's better to see someone naked, in person. But every now and than, looking at someone in a magazine is… interesting." She glances at Elizabeth out of the corner of her eye, unobtrusively, and than shrugs, "But, than again, you probably aren't interested in that, as you have more important things to think about. Like how to learn quickly to be a fighter. I can see that Tyler's been training you, you are starting to get a little of his swagger."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit. "Then I'll have to try to fix that. I'm not exactly trying to. I'm just trying to get myself to where I can be useful for what needs to be done. Getting like Ham is totally is something I'm trying to avoid… Once I consider myself useful enough, I'll look into other things, probably…" She smiles a little bit.

Heather O'Leary chuckles, "Well, if you want to learn to fight, I'll be happy to train you… although, I should warn you, that We'll draw alot of attention. My Martial Arts Workout clothes tend to be tight fitting, what little there actually is of it."

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "It's the one time all of my modesty goes out the window. Anything to get an advantage over people. Even if it doesn't work in a real fight, it gives me an edge in training, and I hate to loose."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles… "Well, I don't mind that. I doubt I'd really get too bothered by having an audience, even if they were calling advice from it. And ah…"

Heather O'Leary chuckles, "Well, advice from anyone but Talos, I'd recommend you ignore. I'll show you things that will likely confuse most of the Resistance. I doubt anyone but Talos has been in Martial Arts as long as I have. I've been a black belt in Akido since I was 15, Karate since 17, and Twae Kon do since I was 18. I've also trained in Kung-Fu, Jujitsu, and some of the more, exotic forms of Martial Arts." She shrugs, "I wanted to be what Talos was, Special Forces, but they wouldn't assign me to the Training facility, so I went for piloting." She looks around 4th Street, "So, where are we going? I assume you have a place to change in one of the resturants, or clubs around here?"

Elizabeth Maxwell nods. "The club is just up the street…" She gestures to a barely visible driveway, for the alleyway. "And since 17 doesn't look like that terribly long ago, for you…"

Heather O'Leary murmers, "I'm 29, Elizabeth… but thank you for the compliment."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles a little bit. "Still, that's not terribly old either. You want to look at terribly old, look how gray Ham is getting."

Heather O'Leary chuckles, making a beeline, in a roundabout way, for the alley, "I never want to look like Ham. Although, I suppose in a few years, i'll have to pull than a few grey hairs out of my head." She glances at Elizabeth, and shrugs, "But it could be worse, I could end up looking like what Faber will look like, when his muscles turn into fat. That man is built like a ton of bricks, but age will make it harder for him."

Elizabeth Maxwell snickers a little bit. "When it all turns to fat, he's going to be in deep. I'd hate to think of the medical problems that might bring up…"
Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "Especially with his food intake. Have you seen what he eats?" She shrugs, and stops as the approach the entrance to the Alley. She looks around, "What kind of welcome can we expect, being in Visitor Uniforms, with these voices?"

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "When we get to the doorway, we'd better take the neck things off…"

You say, "They'd recognize me, they might not recognize you."

Heather O'Leary nods, "I'll stay behind you."
Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "Good idea."

Heather O'Leary walks to the Alleyway.

You walk into 4th Street Alley.

Heather O'Leary steps into the alley, after reaching the realtive saftey and seculsion of the alley, she reaches up, and removes her device around her neck. She rubs her neck, and sighs, "That thing is going to leave a small mark for a bit. Just a tad too tight."

Elizabeth Maxwell heads for the back end of the alley, in the deep darkness, to an as yet unseen spot. "And no, I haven't seen his food take…" She admits, checking behind them for someone following, then reaching a hand up, and taking the device off. "Sorry. I'll look for a bigger one…"

Heather O'Leary smiles, "It's OK. I'll survive." She follows Liz.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles, heading further in, and finally stopping at a well hidden door, pulling the key for it from the brim of the hat, and opening it up, holding the hat in one hand.

Heather O'Leary takes a deep breath, holds the door, and says, almost nervously, "Beauty before wisdom."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "That could go either way, you realize…"

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "Beauty before Age?"

Elizabeth Maxwell slips into the door, with that.

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs…

You walk into Main Room.

Heather O'Leary walks in from 4th Street Alley.

Elias is sitting at the table, and he sees Visitor Uniforms. He pulls a Pistol from his jacket and points it at Elizabeth and Heather, "I think you made a wrong turn…. Oh… Hi Elizabeth, what are you doing here, and…" His aim goes to Heather, "I suggest you release the Girl."

Elizabeth Maxwell rolls her eyes. "Relax, Elias… I watched her put the uniform on, and the voice alterer. This is Heather, the girl Ham broke out of Houston. We were slipping through LAX with these. You do know that the enemy is basically using it as a parking lot, yes?"

Elias nods, "They use the street outside as a parking lot, as well." He sighs, than nods to Heather, putting his gun away, "Sorry, can't be too careful these days." He glances around, "You two are the only two down here right now. I'll be going back up stairs to let Willie get a break. Take it easy." With that, Elias walks up the stairs.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods.

Heather O'Leary looks at Liz, and asks, "Umm, we left my clothes on the Squadship… anything here to change into?"

Elizabeth Maxwell hrms. "Not sure… There should be. I have a couple things here, maybe some of it would fit you…"

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, and grins, "Well, I'll make sure to keep my modesty on a short leash. If you have a dress here, that should do, it'll be a little short, but it's better than pants, which would be a few inches too short.

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "I have a short skirt… But its not a full dress, I have a shirt or two to go with it…
-OOC- Elizabeth Maxwell bwhahahahahahahahahahahahahas
-OOC- Elizabeth Maxwell evil

Heather O'Leary nods, "Something simple is fine. I imagine barefoot will have to be my footware, until we get to my apartment."

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "Depends, what size you wear?"

Heather O'Leary shrugs slightly, "Luky for me, my feet are a little smaller than many women my height."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods, looking at the boots, and trying to figure out. "I think I know of a pair that might fit you pretty well…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "Good." She starts to unfasten her uniform, to let a little air inside to her skin, "I will say one thing for the Visitors, their uniforms will keep them warm on a cold night."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods, getting her own off. "Yeah, they will, probably some kind of insulators weaved into the fabric. the boots are killers though…" She leans down and takes them off, along with the socks that were in them, wiggling her toes as she's down to bra and panties.

Heather O'Leary kicks her boots off, they were too big, and finishes undressing, herself naked under her uniform. She sits down, and folds the uniform, and smiles at Elizabeth, arching an eyebrow.

Elizabeth Maxwell shrugs, smiling back, and folds the other uniform up, then heads for the old dresser with the spare clothes in them, starting to dig some out, pulling a t-shirt and some jeans for herself, and her spare socks and tennis shoes, then digging up that skirt and the shirts for it, for Heather, looking at the shoes in the next drawer for the right ones.

Heather O'Leary waits patiently, but she is hoping no one comes through the door to the alley, or down the stairs from the Club. She looks around, and can see what appears to be an armory through one of the doors, and she smiles, grins is closer to the correct term.

Elizabeth Maxwell hands over the skirt and shirt, and a pair of socks. "I'm looking for underclothes in your size, I have some shoes…" She sets a not too bad looking pair of 3 inch platform heel shoes. "They aren't great, but they're your size, I think…"

Heather O'Leary smiles, "They'll be fine. At least I won't have to worry about stepping on glass, nails, or other assorted 'bad' things." She buttons up the shirt, or tries to, and pulls on the skirt. After that, she puts on the socks, and heels, than removes the heels, long enough to remove the socks. She smiles, "Didn't look right with socks."

Heather O'Leary has to leave a few buttons on the shirt undone. She looks down, to make sure she isn't showing too much of herself, and takes a breath. A button sounds like it is getting ready to pop, so she unbuttons it, all the way, and uses the shirt tails to tie the shirt on, like a halter top.

Heather O'Leary looks down, and shakes her head slightly, at least she'll be able to put on a bra and pair of panties when she gets to her apartment, although likely she'll have to leave the bra off, as it won't look right with her 'new' shirt.

Elizabeth Maxwell looks over Heather a little bit, and smiles. "That seems to fit your figure well, if your figure were less than it is, I wouldn't have suggested that stuff, I was afraid you might have to tie the shirt together…

Heather O'Leary glances at Elizabeth, "My shirt *is* tied on, Elizabeth…" She smiles, "But I kind of like it."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods. "I know it is. I was afraid of that. As I say, your figure is good enough you can get away with it, though. It looks good on you…" She smiles a little bit.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles. "So, should we get going, then?":

Heather O'Leary nods, and stands up, a little unsteady on the shoes. She takes a few steps, and than gets used to them, and moves with authority, "Too bad there is not anywhere to hide a weapon in this outfit…" She shrugs, "Should we go back out the alley, or through the upstairs?"

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "The upstairs, probably."

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "Allright." She moves to the stairs, and starts to climb up.

You say, "And no, there's hardly any place to hide mine either, unless…" she digs into the drawer, pulling out a handbag. "This might work…"

Elizabeth Maxwell digs for a second handbag, so both have somewhere for weapons. She pulls up a small denim one, putting her laser pistol in it, along with a few 'girlish' things to hide it. She then fills the other with something good to hide weapons with, looking up to check Heather for response.

Heather O'Leary smiles, "Not a bad Idea." She looks over towards the armory, from her spot on the stairs, "I'd rather avoid a laser pistol though… Something like a 10mm, or even a 9mm would be my preference."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods. "a 9mm automatic should fit in the bigger one…" She runs into the armory, and gets one, hiding it underneath the 'girl' stuff, then brings it back, shoulding her own. "Here you are…"

Heather O'Leary takes the purse, reaching down, and checks out the contents. She slips the 9mm out, checks the clip, checks the action, and than slips the safety on, putting the pistol back in the purse, and sling the purse up over her shoulder.

Heather O'Leary flings her hair over her shoulder, so that it falls down her back, and she turns to continue her climb, "Well, no time like the present, eh?"

Elizabeth Maxwell shrugs. "I guess not."

Heather O'Leary climbs up the ladder.

You walk into Walk-in Freezer.

Heather O'Leary steps out of the door, into the walk-in freezer, and goosebumps quickly rise on her skin. Her nipples harden, and are clearly visible through the white blouse. She murmers, "Nice place for a freezer." She waits for Elizbeth to step through, and to let the secret door close, before opening the outher freezer door, so they can go out into the club itself.

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit, as she steps through, then heading for the other door with Heather. "Well, its a good way to hide the entrance, anyways…" She shrugs a little bit.

Heather O'Leary nods, "Even if it does have the normal effect on certain bodyparts."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit. "Sorry…"

Heather O'Leary shrugs, and crosses her arms over her chest, for a few seconds, and pushing the door open. She steps into the kitchen, and when she drops her arms, her nipples are no longer so visibly hard.

Heather O'Leary walks to the Metal.

You walk into Kitchen.

Heather O'Leary ignores the stares from the kitchen help, at her, as she steps through the kitchen, towards the main room of the club itself. She smiles back at Liz, and says, "Look out LA, here come the best looking women in the city."
<Newbie> Kadjem waves, "Hey Felix."

Elizabeth Maxwell follows heather out, smiling as they get into the kitchen. "Heehee. The reactions youget outside might be interesting to watch…"

Heather O'Leary rolls her eyes, "Oh well. I'll survive. It is not actually possible to die of embaressment. and I do mean 'bare'" She winks at Liz, and pushes open the swinging doors, time to face the people, maybe she'll be lucky, and it'll be a slow night at the club.

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs… "Slow night. Maybe…"

Heather O'Leary shrugs, and steps out into the mainroom.

You walk into Club Creole Resturant and Bar.

Heather O'Leary crings slightly as alot of eyes move to her and Elizabeth, including the man she first saw downstairs. She holds her head high, and walks through the resturant's dining area, moving towards the door.

Several people blink as the pair walkk by, especially watching the tall one in the more interesting clothes. Elias grins a little bit for himself, watching the two, shaking his head.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles at the eyes, batting her eyelashes a little bit as she blinks, following Heather.

Heather O'Leary stops as she gets to the door, and turns around, to survey the people looking, or perhaps staring, at her. She gives them all a smile, and winks at Elias.

One guy openly gapes up at Heather. he watches her wide-eyed, standing up a bit as she passes by. "Why hel-LO there… You looking for anything to do tonight, by chance? I'm sure I could think of a few things for a girl as pretty as you to come dow ith me…"

Heather O'Leary elbows the man away, "Sorry fool. Your lines are older than me."

The older guy awws and shucks, heading back for his seat.

Heather O'Leary takes a deep breath and shakes her head slightly, actually waiting for some guy to be daring enough to try and cop a feel, on her way through the crowd.

One guy near the back really is daring enough, a younger more street-punkish kid, thinking he can get quite a handful, slips his hand out behind, to see if he can get a feel before anyone stops him.

Heather O'Leary feels the streetpunks hand touch her ass, she whirls, and brings her leg up in a not-so-gentle roundhouse kick, giving anybody watching a free show of her womanly charms. The kick connects with the guys head.

Plenty of people watch the fight, and get the view that the kick offers. Elias' eyes widen, and he comes around from behind the bar, to kick the punk out, after the action. One or two guys who saw the view openly gape at Heather by now, another lets out a whistle.

One more tactless guy even comes over and bows down at Heather's feet, looking upward at her. "Don't hurt me…"

Elizabeth Maxwell just lets out a soft, meaningful groan.

Heather O'Leary glares at the guy, and reaches down with her right hand, and grabs the guys ear. She yanks on it, pulling the guy to his feet, and twisting his ear at the same time.

The guy ows a lot, and tries to pull away from her.

Heather O'Leary looks over at Elias, "I think you need a better class of customer. I'll clean the trash out for you." She refuses to mention that she is likely considered a trashy woman, for her taste in clothes, but something odd, for wearing what she is wearing, and not expecting what she is getting. She drags the man towards the door, "Pay the man for your meal, and get out."

Elias laughs and nods, "Thank you, ma'am." He grins brightly at her. "Good show… might draw rumors though, and more low class customers…"

Elias got the good views as well, but won't say ANYTHING, wanting to keep himself intact.

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "After I get a pair of jeans, I'll come and be a bouncer for you." She shrugs, "Either that, or pay me enough, and I might even consider wearing this outfit, and be seen walking *into* your club, which should bring you more paying customers."

Elias grins brightly. "I can definitely look into seeing how much we could pay you for that, maybe even enough to be worth your while. Thanks! More customers, and you'd probably get paid more, too."

Heather O'Leary chuckles, "Tonight's a freebie." She looks at Liz, than Elias, "I umm.. didn't catch your name."

Elias smiles and offers a hand to her, in gentlemanly fashion. "Elias Taylor, ma'am."

Heather O'Leary takes the hand, shakes it, with her firm grip, and smiles. "Heather O'Leary."

Elias smiles. "A definite pleasure, Miss O'Leary. You have a good night…"

Heather O'Leary smiles, "And you have a profitable one, Mr Taylor."

Elias grins. "Will do…"

Elizabeth Maxwell glances at the two, shaking her head. "We should get going… Enough of a spectacle in here tonight already, considering what happened…"

Heather O'Leary nods, and steps out the door. She glances back over the crowd, and shakes her head slightly. To Elizabeth, she softly says, "Next time, the alleyway."

Elizabeth Maxwell grins a little at Heather, and nods a little bit. "All right…" She steps through the door with Heather, looking out at the street.

You walk into 4th Street.

Heather O'Leary steps out, onto the, mostly, deserted street, and looks around, "Well, let's head to my apartment? Or did you have something else in mind?"

Elizabeth Maxwell shakes her head. "Apartment sounds fine first. We should get away from here mainly, to end the distraction…"

Heather O'Leary nods, and looks for a taxi, she smiles, as a Taxi pulls up. She opens the door, and holds it for Elizabeth.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles. "Thanks…" She climbs into the cab, waiting for Heather to get in with, then checks her handbag, she remembered to bring some cash that she had around, to make sure the cab is covered, just in case.

Heather O'Leary gets in, "Hollywood Military Complex Apartments." The Taxi driver turns around, and frowns, "You must be new to town, it was destroyed 2 months ago." Heather's eyes go wide, and she looks at Liz, "Umm, we have a problem." She looks back to the driver, "Umm, thanks…" She opens the door, and steps out.

Elizabeth Maxwell ums, and nods a little, hopping out the other side. "Sorry…" She hops out, and looks over to Heather, wide-eyed.

Heather O'Leary closes her eyes, and leans against a wall. She says softly, "Well, everything I have here in town is gone…" She opens her eyes, looked determined, and than looks at Elizabeth, "Maybe if I contacted my old Commander, he might be able to forward me some of my pay… but it would take some time to get here."

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms… "How long? It might come to that, I'm afraid, there's not any spare funding around for anything…" She looks around, and sighs. "Sorry this didn't turn out quite as planned. Food and shelter aren't a problem, at least…"

Elizabeth Maxwell almost smiles. "Or you could take Elias up on his offer…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "no problems there.. but it would likely take a couple weeks to get here, it would have to come through the Visitor controlled areas…" She shakes her head, "I couldn't do that… It would be… a bad idea. Someone might end up dead."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little bit, trying to look sober about it and not laugh. "That could be a problem, yes…"

Heather O'Leary hears the contained laughter in Liz' voice, and smiles briefly, "There is one other alternative…"

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "Other than mugging someone, I can't really think of any…"

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "Mugging, outright theft, breaking and entering…"

Heather O'Leary says, very softly, "Turning a trick. Not that I'd do that."

Elizabeth Maxwell frowns. "I'm not low enough to act like a hooker, but any breaking and entering or anything else would have to be done in disguise, probably with the uniforms and some spare shock trooper helmets we've used for disguises before.

Heather O'Leary shakes her head, "If I did this, I'd do it solo. I can't have you possibly getting arrested for my actions." She suddenly remembers something, and moves off towards the freeway, and a postoffice there. "Come on Liz'beth… I just remembered something."

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms, walking for it. "What's that?"

Heather O'Leary smiles, "My post office box. I use it as a storage. Nothing gets mailed to it, and I have strict orders to the mail people, along with a hefty payment, that they will not put any junk mail in it. They even gave me the only key to the back part of it, so they could only opn it, if they knew my combonation.

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms, nodding a little bit, and walking along. "That sounds like it has possibilities…"

Heather O'Leary smiles, "Another one of my stashes. The only other one in LA though."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "Well, at least you have one other one in LA…"

Heather O'Leary nods, and mutters, "If it wasn't blown up."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "I'm sorry."

Heather O'Leary smiles, in relief, after walking the 5 blocks to the freeway area, and the post office is still there. "No Worries. It's not like I had much stuff there. All my good stuff is back East." She shrugs, "I'll miss my collection of CD's, and my computer, but it's all replaceable, if I ever fly to Boston, or Northern Virgina." She moves to the post office, and goes to the P.O. Box area. She moves to POBox #555 and enters a combonation on the lock. The box opens…

Elizabeth Maxwell watches interestedly.

Heather O'Leary pulls out two envelopes, "She checks inside both of them, one has an extra Military ID, her Texas Drivers License, and 3 Visa Cards. The other has about a thousand in Cash. She smiles, and makes sure no one else can see what is inside, other than Elizabeth, and she grins, "Jackpot."

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "Don't suppose the cards are under another name, are they? If they're not, they might give away where you are…"

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "It's not like Diana hasn't figured out I escaped, and likely came here. Tyler told me he sent her a personal greetings over it." She shrugs, "Besides, they are Basic Military issued ones, for use in emergancies, and the name is 'Military Personel', and I do have an extra Military ID, right… here." She holds it up, from the spot she pulled it from, taped to the PO Box' door

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "Unless someone cancelled military cards. But if Ham sent a personal greeting to wave it under Diana's nose, other than making her crazier than she already is… Guess there's not much reason not to."

Heather O'Leary smiles, "These cards can not be cancelled, not even by the Visitors, If the Card company exists, no matter what, it will be approved. I think instead of flying back, we should consider getting a Jeep, and driving back, cross country, or maybe a couple Motorcycles for offroad riding… Than send someone else to get the Squadship… so it is not obvious about the movements."

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "That might work. I don't know how to ride a motorcycle, though… A jeep might work."

Heather O'Leary nods, "The reason I say Motorcycle, is that they are easier to hide… you could ride behind me. I know the Military will understand a Bike, but they might get annoyed about a Jeep. I will send them the cards, and my resignation, and say that whatever we charge can be my retirement package."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "Well, all right. I doubt they'll cancel it, considering the situation and what we're trying to do, but if its big enough for both of us, one would be easier to hide."

Heather O'Leary nods, "Lets go get some clothes first, than tomorrow, we'll go shop for a bike."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles… "all right. I kinda like what I'm wearing now, I might just keep it around to wear…"

Heather O'Leary chuckles, "If I am in the mood to make some man happy, I'll wear this again…"

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit. "Well, it does look nice on you…"

Heather O'Leary smiles, and moves towards the door, after stashing the evelopes in her purse. She gets outside, and hails a Taxi.

Elizabeth Maxwell follows out, watching the taxi pull up, and smiles more confidently, opening the door for Heather this time.

Heather O'Leary grins and bows slightly to Liz, as she gets inside, she waits for Liz, and says, "Well, this time 'Liz'beth, you get to pick the destination, where to for shopping?"

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms, getting in, and looking to the driver. "Well, the one mall is open all night… Lets go there…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "You heard her." The driver nods, and pulls the taxi away from the curb, his eyes watching the rearview mirror just as much as the road. He adjusts the mirror, so he can see both Liz and Heather from about the stomach up to the eyes.

Elizabeth Maxwell settles back into her seat, stretching out a little. "Should get easier from here on in…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "Money makes most thing easy. She meets the drivers eyes in the mirror and arches one of her eyebrows, "Consider that your tip."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit, watching Heather catch the driver. She leans in to Heather a little, to whisper better. "Think we're too conspicuous?"

<Admin> Elizabeth Maxwell ponders biology matters.

Heather O'Leary shrugs, and whispers back, it almost appears as if she and Liz are making out, to the driver anyways, "So what if we are? I'm comfortable, and I assume you are as well?"

<Admin> Kadjem says, "Oh?"

<Admin> Elizabeth Maxwell is trying to remember/think up something on the reproductive biology of the Visitors, and how the hybrid status applies to
Elizabeth, in terms of whether she'd have a monthly cycle and such.

<Admin> Kadjem says, "Umm… Likely she would. She's more human in appearance, so she likely is most closely resembling the humans in biological matters."

<Admin> Elizabeth Maxwell says, "maybe."

<Admin> Elizabeth Maxwell :)

<Admin> Elizabeth Maxwell was thinking mainly of how much more interesting it could be if it didn't cycle, or cycled at longer points, in terms of going pantiless. ;b

<Admin> Kadjem says, "But, I suppose I'll leave that in your hands. I'd say that in terms of Reproductive organs, that Liz wouls be only slightly different from a human. Likely Liz can procreate with Humans and Visitors equally well. As for Cycles, just say that She's like the Visitors…. she doesn't cycle, except after a fertilized egg is in her womb. Most Terrestrial Lizards do not have anything like a cycle."

<Admin> Elizabeth Maxwell nods. Okay. Yeah, that's what I thought.

<Admin> Elizabeth Maxwell grins.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little, continuing the whispering, and the appearance of making out almost. "I'm fine…"

Chiang walks in from North Hollywood Blvd.

Heather O'Leary and Elizabeth are in a Taxi. The Taxi stops, Heather pays the Driver and they step out, right infront of a shopping mall.

Chiang looks up from the paper he is reading and slowly looks up and down the street

Heather O'Leary nods slightly to Chiang, as she looks around the mall.

Elizabeth Maxwell glances to Chiang as well, offering him a smile, as she looks around as well.

Heather O'Leary walks towards a store, just so happening to walk rightby Chiang. She stops near him, to look through the window of the store, she looks over at Liz, "Whatcha think, 'Liz'beth?"

Chiang eyes continue to keep traveling descreetly around the small as he pretends to go back to reading the paper but keeps part of his attention on the two women that just got out of the cab

Elizabeth Maxwell looks at it. "Hrm. Maybe… What do you think?"

You sense: Heather O'Leary lans over to Elizabeth, "Well, not too bad…" She pauses, and than, "Notice the perv looking at us?"
Heather O'Leary leans over and whispers something to Elizabeth

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms, nodding a little bit, and whispering back.

You whisper, "I saw him… Don't know who he is…" to Heather O'Leary.
Heather O'Leary nods slightly, than says, "Well, they have some nice stuff, but who knows… lets go in and look." She steps in, and ignores the looks she gets, as she walks into a pricey store, in her current outfit.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods, walking in behind.

Chiang hmmms and decides that it might be a good idea to keep tabs on tyhese two women though he dosn't know why

Heather O'Leary mutters to Elizabeth Maxwell, "Wonder… staring,… seems to… would he pretend… behind… paper?"

Heather O'Leary whispers "Wonder why he is staring, he's not one that seems to care about appearance. I mean, if he did, would he pretend to hide behind the paper?"

Elizabeth Maxwell shrugs. She mutters to Heather O'Leary, "… doesn't… to… just keeping… goes… him…. why…"

Heather O'Leary senses "Elizabeth Maxwell shrugs. "No, he doesn't seem to be… Seems to be just keeping track of whoever goes by him. I wonder why…""
Heather O'Leary shrugs, and than looks around the store, her hands moving to a pair of leather pants. She smiles, and glances at Liz, "You like Leather?"
<Admin> Kadjem note to self, build an actual Mall, just abuilding :)

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little. "Never tried any, actually…"

Chiang hmmmms to himself as he walds just a few doors cady corner from the store that the two girls had just entered and ordered a coffie

Heather O'Leary looks at Liz, closely, than pulls a pair of pants down from the rack, "Go try these on… I think you'd look good in them." She pulls a pair for herself down, and looks to the lady behind the counter, "Dressing rooms?" The lady arches an eyebrow, than sighs and motions to the back corner. Heather smiles, and says, politely, "Thank you, Ma'am." She moves to the dressing rooms, and pulls Liz with her, "Come on."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles, checking the size on the pants, to make sure they're form fitting, and not a little too big for her.

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms, and gets one just a size smaller, that looks like it should be skin tight to her size, taking it in to the dressing room, and trying it on.

Heather O'Leary steps into the dressing room, and tries the pants on. She steps out to look at herself in the mirror. She smiles as the shiny leather pants fit her like a glove. Slightly long in the legs, but easily fixed.

Heather O'Leary waits for Liz to step out, but makes sure she does, while wearing the pants, "When you have them on, let me see."

Elizabeth Maxwell steps out in hers, looking in the mirror at how tight they are, and how her calves and such show. She smiles a little bit, nodding. "What you think?"

Heather O'Leary is speechless for a few seconds, and than she nods, "Nice. She doesn't look at the tag, cause she knows how much they cost. "My treat for your help."

Heather O'Leary moves back to the rack, and gets a pair of the same pants, in white, to go with the black ones she has on, than moves to other racks, picking out a few blouses to go with the two pairs of pants.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles a little bit. "Thank you…" She hmms. "I know where I can get a coat and a white t-shirt for this, that'd go good…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "Well, I'm all set, I think I'll change into one of these Silk blouses, pay, and than we can find a shoe shop, to get the right boots for these pants." She moves to the dressing room, and than comes out with a white, silk blouse on, and her old clothes drapped over her arm. She walks to the counter, and pays for 3 pairs of leather pants, 4 Silk shirts, one in a size seemingly more of Elizabeth's size, than her own. the total comes out to 1500 dollars, and she pays with one of her Credit cards, without any problems. The lady behind the counter smiles, as Heather just paid the ladies way to her next night school class, and throws in some free cotton T-Shirts.

Chiang gets up from the table and heads to the restroom and when he comes back out his suit and tie are gone to be replaced with clothes that makes him blend in with the crowed better

Heather O'Leary takes the bags, and a card, with a smile, and moves over to Liz, she uses a pair of scissors to remove the tags from Liz's pants, hand her a bag with a shirt, matching her current white shirt, kisses Liz on the cheek, and whispers, "It feels so good to be in real clothes… thank you."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles a bit more. "So what else do you need, you think?"

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "Well, I need shoes, underclothes, a nightgown, jeans, and a bunch of shirts."

Chiang exits the coffie shop and blends in perfectly with the crowd and keeps a watch on the two women without trying to be to obvious from a distance away

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit. "Ah… I have all that stuff, up at home…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "You do… But I don't."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "I know. Which means you need to get some…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "Underclothes first… Victoria's Secret in the mall? Or where? New mall for me, I don't even know what is here." She looks around, sees Chiang, "I'll ask him." She moves over to Chiang, "Excuse me?"

Felix Thibedeau has arrived.

Heather O'Leary nods, "Underclothes first… Victoria's Secret in the mall? Or where? New mall for me, I don't even know what is here." She looks around, sees Chiang, "I'll ask him." She moves over to Chiang, "Excuse me?"

Chiang looks up and acts like he is suprised to have been spoken to, "Yes" he ask's.

Heather O'Leary smiles at Chiang, "Yes, I'm new to LA, and I haven't been to this Mall before… I was wondering if you knew if there was a Victoria's Secrets, or Fredricks of Hollywood, or other Female Underwear store in the mall." Heather was, or is rather, a Marine, so asking strangers about feminine clothing doesn't seem to phase her.

Chiang frowns in thought then nods and points to one end of the mall, "I think that there is a store like that down at theat the end of the mall." he responds with a slight smile.

Heather O'Leary nods, "Thank you, Sir." She responds, with a smile of her own, and looks to Liz, and motions that they should walk that way.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles, nodding, following along with Heather.

Chiang waits till they get a good distance away then descreatly starts to follow them

Heather O'Leary moves down the mall, but keeps an eye in the reflections of the shops' glass to see if they are being followed by the man she talked to, whom she has seen watching them all night.

Heather O'Leary sees the shop Chiang mentioned, and goes into it. It is slightly more risque than Victoria's Secrets, but it will definately do.

Elizabeth Maxwell raises her eyebrows a little bit, but follows along, just to look.

Heather O'Leary doesn't buy anything too odd, just a a few bras, and some panties, and a couple nightgowns, one silk, one flannel, paying again with her credit card, and than looks to Liz, and smiles, "All done here. Shoes, or regular clothes next? You pick."

Elizabeth Maxwell shrugs. "Regular clothes, I'd say, save shoes, that usually takes longer, so should be last…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "Well, I hope they have a specialty Jeans store. I need Jeans with an extra pice in the crotch, so the seams don't break, if I have to fight in them. Most jeans stores have a couple, or have to special order, but many specialty shops have them in stock, all the time." She spies a mall directory, and looks it over, to see if they have what she needs.

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "I'd think you could sew a piece in, for that…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "You could, but it's easier to buy em… You don't want to see me with a needle and thread. I'll end up sewing my arm to the jeans."
A large shadow falls over one side of the directory, as a mixed blood gorilla pauses to make sure he's on the right track. Frowning a bit he wonders what quack would open any sort of gunstore in a mall. And more importantly he hopes what he was told is correct… if he came all the way down here only to have to find somewhere else to go, he'd probably break something. Felix grumbles to himself as he reads through the list of stores.

Heather O'Leary glances over at Felix, recognizes him, and grins, poking Elizabeth, and pointing to Felix. She says to Felix, softly, "Come here often, Sailor?"

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit, waving at Felix, and nodding at Heather. "I /might/ be able to do it, someone else might know how to do it better, somewhere around camp…"

Chiang hmmmms to himself and narrows his eyes specuylatively as he sees the two women who had approched him earlier stop and talk to someone by the mall directory

Felix Thibedeau replies, not looking up, "I'm a Marine, not a sailor." he replies, not looking to see who's talking as he continues to search the list. Blinking he says, "Well bloody hell, some idiot DID open a gunshop in the mall!" he grins and looks up blinking, "Oh… er, O'Leary right? Ham's friend… what're you doin' here?"

Heather O'Leary motions to Liz, "Shopping" She says, holding up some bags. She grins, "Marine huh? I knew there was a reason I liked you." She peers over his shoulder, "A gun Shop? Interesting… Might have to check it out. And since I am Military, no need for that waiting period. I could replace my Glock, and charge Uncle Sam for it." She smiles, than looks at Liz, "Well, we can stop, get some oversized jeans, and a bunch of t-shirts, than a stop for some Dress boots, Combat Boots, Tennis Shoes, and a couple pair of other types of shoes… but I want to stop at the Gun Store, and replace my Glock too."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods to Heather. "That sounds fine…"

Chiang decides it is about time to stop tailing these people for a bit and check in with some of his informents here in the mall and see what infdormation they have for him

Felix Thibedeau grunts out, "Yeah." he's got all the personality of a wild boar it seems… this is one of the guys that earned the 'Jarhead' nickname, "It's down this way." he starts walking, the sheer size of him parting a path through the people shopping.

Heather O'Leary motions to Liz, and follows in the wake of Felix's large body, her only slightly smaller body moving easily through the throngs of shoppers.

-OOC- Heather O'Leary technically, In California, would have to register herself as a Deadly Weapon… Even without packing. California requires BlackBelts to register. :)

Felix Thibedeau turns down one of those offshoots that malls have, making it nearly impossible to walk anywhere in a straight line. Heading towards a store situated near an exit…

Elizabeth Maxwell follows along behind Heather, watching for where she's going, and staying quiet.

Heather O'Leary glances to Felix, as she passes a clothes Store, "If you could wait 5 minutes for me to grab a couple things, I'll be right with you in the gun store." She motions to a clothes store right next to the 'gun store'. She winks at Felix, and grins, "I'll be right there, I'm not as slow as some women."

As Chiang sees the small group start heading to the gun shop he quickly enters it and walks through a small conciled door nooding at the clerk as he went aso he could watch the m from the survailence tape.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles, going in with Heather, and watching, to see what all she gets.

Heather O'Leary quickly moves into the clothes stores and buys some pants one size too big, about 5 pair. She also buys a couple pair of shorts, and a few more T-Shirts. She sees a couple things she'll remember for the next time she hits the mall. All she requires, other than her shoes, is a jacket, and she tries one on, a Leather Bomber Jacket, and she smiles. She takes the Jacket off, pays for all her stuff, and in less than 5 minutes, is in the Gun sho, next door, with Felix.

Elizabeth Maxwell doesn't go into the gun shop, for herself, she hangs back, and looks at something in the center section, considering things, though she makes sure to watch the gun shop, in case of trouble.

Heather O'Leary does watch Liz, as she looks over the pistols of the Gun shop. She looks at Felix, and chuckles, but she motions to the clerk that she'd like to look at a Glock 20 10mm Semi-Automatic Pistol.

Chiang frowns as he watcher the treo enter and debates on weather to go out and great thecustomers or just stay seated and see what happens but in then end decides for the prier

One clerk walks over to Felix, "Can I help you?" The other clerk moves to Heather, and pulls out a Glock 20, and hands it to her to look at, "Sure you want such a big piece? A SigSauer 9mm would likely be better for a lady." Heather smiles, "I'm a Marine, I can handle the 10mm."

Chiang opens the rear door at the end of the shop and stroles casuly into the store frount

Felix Thibedeau goes about examining the gunracks quietly, he's not interested in talking to any salesmen, right now he's looking for guns. He's had enough experience not to need some halfbaked loony who's only ever fired rounds at a coffee cans in the back yard telling him whats best.

Chiang just stands on the other siude of the door with hius arms crossed watching

Chiang walks up to the big looking fellow who looks to be kind of uncomfertable with the sells clers and smiles, "Can I help you sir?" he inquires.

Felix Thibedeau glances at Chiang, "No, I know exactly what I'm looking for. Just get the cash register ready."

Heather O'Leary looks at the Clerk, and smiles, "Wrap this one up, through in a Laser site, 2 extra clips, and 3 boxes of 10mm rounds." The clerk blinks, "Umm, I can let you have the clips, the site, and the ammo now. The Pistol will have to wait. You have to wait for the waiting period to expire." Heather glares, dangerously at the clerk, and digs something out of her purse, a Military ID, and proper paers, "I told you, I'm a Marine, on Active duty. That means I can buy a weapon, and carry it concealed in all 50 states, and the District of Columbia. Not to mention the numerous American Territories, such as American Somoa, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. Now, just get me a total, and put it on this card." The clerk looks over at Chiang, "Excuse me, Mr. Chiang? We have a minor problem over here."

Chiang smiles to himself as he motions the clerk to step aside, "Now what seems to be the problem here?" he ask's

Heather O'Leary explains the problem (*OOC* See previous pose). "As you can see, my papers are in order, and since President Morrow inacted that law last year, I have every right to buy this Glock, with no waiting period."

Chiang frowns as he considers this and looks closely at her idea, "I can see from your Idea that you arenot from around here."

Chiang says, "and as such you do relise that you have to keep youre weapon unloaded at all times unless you are pushed into duty here in our city?"

Heather O'Leary nods, "I currently live in Houston, but I *had* an apartment here, before the Visitors destroyed it. As for leaving a weapon unloaded, that is easy enough, I normally do. I keep my clips in a pocket, but easily accessible by myself."

Heather O'Leary smiles, "And as a member of the Military, I am on duty, as we speak. but I do not want trouble, so it will be unloaded."

Elizabeth Maxwell keeps watching the store, still highly concerned about what's going on in there, though keeping herself in a spot where she can watch without going on camera.

Chiang frowns, "And just what is your pourpose for buying a weapon here? Thought the military provided you with weapons?" he ask's with a slight frown.

Heather O'Leary smirks, "Well, since the Visitors shot me down over San Diego, I have to replace my weapons. The man over there was nice enough to provide me with a lift here, from San Diego." She says it, just loud enough for Felix to hear her. "But, since I had some money stashed here in LA, I can afford a new weapon, and I won't feel safe without a weapon, until I can get back to the Dust Zone, and rehook up with my squadron."

Felix Thibedeau sighs and drops his gaze from a particularly attractive looking M-60. He trundles over and glares at Chiang, "Whassa prollem?" he asks bluntly.

Chiang frowns while he thinks this over then slowly nods then pouses yet again as a thought his him, "Who was the guy that gave you a ride here and why was there nothing about the crash on the news?"

Heather O'Leary looks at Felix, "The gentleman here doesn't think I was shot down. Tell him that you picked me up, in my flightsuit, near San Diego, and that I had lodt my weapon in a fight with the sankes." She looks back to Chiang, "News from San Diego is limited, since the Snakes control the area, and this man," She motions to the rather large Felix, "Gave me a ride, since he was headed this way himself."

A few people start taking interest in the weapons shop, mainly passers by looking in and seeing people in it, and start watching, to see what's going on in the shop, curious.

Felix Thibedeau frowns at Heather, "You were only half in the flight suit remember, the other half was torn free going through the tree." he replies, "Landing in the middle of San Diego missing half of your flightsuit should have garnered plenty of attention."

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "I'm trying not to remember *that* part of the ride."

Chiang says, "your total come to 408.90"

Heather O'Leary nods, and hands over the card. "Charge it, Mr. Chiang."

Chiang nods and responds j"Just a minuet," as he hands it to the clerk to cun through the machine

Heather O'Leary nods, and while she waits, she pulls the shoulder holster on, loads up the clips, and slips them into the inside pocket of her jacket. She puts the Glock into the holster, and partway zips up her jacket.

Chiang says, "You never did answer my last question Miss O'Leary"

Chiang says, "If the visitors shot down your plain why not just get in contact with your CO and have them send you a replacement weapon and unifoirm?"

Heather O'Leary says, "You mean about why my Co won't send me a Harrier here to LA, along with a weapon? Easy, we are not in the Red Dust zone. Any attempt to get a Harrier here, would be detected by the Visitors, and would be stopped. I'll have to walk, or drive out of town, up to the Mountains. As for a Weapon and Unifrom, my CO doesn't even know I am alive, but he will, when he gets that bill. With communications being such as they are, I have to get to a Red Dust zone to make contact.""

Felix Thibedeau looks at Chiang, "You ever been in the marines?"

Chiang nods slowly, "Did a short term in China's equivilent of the US Marines, Infact I was part of the special ops forces there,"

Felix Thibedeau says, "But, you've never been in the US Marine Corps, correct?"

Chiang shakes his head wondering where this was going

Heather O'Leary takes her card back from the clerk, signs the recipet, takes her copy, and places them both in her purse. She looks at Felix, "If you need any help, I'll be outside, with your lady friend."

Felix Thibedeau leans over and smiles, showing off big teeth, "Then don't guess how the Military here works, good day." he turns around and walks towards the door, "I ain' buyin' crap here, the idiots obviously don't know how to deal with paying customers."

Heather O'Leary chuckles, and smiles. She waits til she is outa Chiang's site, than slips a clip into her Glock.

Chiang sighs in freustration and mutters idiot as Felix walks away

Elizabeth Maxwell watches behind the small audience, seeing Heather and Felix come out, she moves back over to join them.

*The next Day*

Heather O'Leary is sitting at a table, wearing the same outfit she was last night. She didn't even get them dirty. Her lunch includes the remnants of a salad, with no dressing, grilled chicken, and some steamed Veggies. Healthy food.

Elizabeth Maxwell wanders over to the table, with her same shirt on, and her jeans back on, to not get the leather pants dirty, though. She smiles a little bit, and wanders over, to sit down. "Life around here is crazy, huh? I was watching while you were in the weapon shop, whatever happened drew quite a crowd."

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "That old fool wdoesn't understand the law of the land." She shrugs, and pushes her food away, but looks at Willie, "Oh, I'll take the Strawberry and Caramel Cheesecake for dessert, thanks." As Willie walks away, she looks at Elizabeth, and smiles.

Willie smiles, in his lop-sided way, and nods, "Elizabeth, did you deny anything as well?"

Elizabeth Maxwell blinks a little bit, grinning at the dessert, after what the meal looked like. "Well, the trouble is, this isn't like the dust zones, where things are more stable…" She looks up at Willie. "No thanks, I'm just here to talk to Heather."

Willie nods, "K.O." He moves to get Heather's order, and than brings it back. "Enjoy." He walks away, after smiling at Liz again.

Heather O'Leary looks up at Liz, from her cheesecake, with a smile, and motions to a chair, "Sit, would you?" She looks back down at her dessert, and smiles, "Ahh, calories, and taste. Great Combonation."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles, sitting down. "Well, yeah. If you don't do it too often, or eat too much of it…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "Well, a five mile run in the morning does burn alot of calories." She smiles, and leans back, letting her cheesecake sit for a minute, "I know LA is different from the Dust Zones, I can even understand that, but with the Visitors upstairs, you'd think weapons would be more readily available. I mean, this City may be known as an open City, but the people in charge can't be willing to let humans die, outside the city… Diana won't spare LA, when she is ready, she'll violalate the treaty, and destroy every inch of LA… You'd think the people that ran the shops, and the government would want to what they could to make Diana too busy with outside problems, to concentrate on LA."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little bit… "Trick is, Bates doesn't clue into that. He thinks he has something over her, I think it was mentioned somewhere in camp that it was a new batch of dust to let loose, which is a separate danger for the ecological ramifications in the long term that weren't realized before initial release. He thinks he can hold that over her and keep it off, and I wouldn't be surprised if she was manipulating him from the other side, as well."

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "Well, even still, all she'd have to do, was target sokething that would flatten all of LA, and destroy the Red Dust, before it could be released. It would be easy for her to drop a nuke on the city…" Heather sighs, grabs a fork, and stabs at her cheesecake, her mood sour, suddenly. She takes a bite and looks at Liz, "But such talk is melencholy… Maybe we should consider getting back to the ranch, early, and find something to do. We need to figure out a way to stop Diana from gaining enough freetime to come up with a way to destroy this City… mostly because, without LA around, there is no place for people to run to, and gain some freedom, without heading to the North, and having to get past all the Visitor patrols.

Elizabeth Maxwell shakes her head a little bit, and nods some. "Yeah… Trick is, she wants to destroy it, but doesn't want to lose what she intends to get from it, either. That's the thing that keeps a heavy weapon off it." She nods at the latter. "Might be an idea, to get back to the ranch and get word on what's happened since we've been gone, for things more important than fghts in clubs…" She smiles a little bit. "At least we can check in here, so they aren't worrying about us."

Heather O'Leary nods, "Yeah… And I do still have a little shopping, mostly for shoes. Although, I'd like to hit a grocery store, and stock up on some stuff… the more I think about what we will want to be taking back, the more I think we might want to get a jeep, or a 4X4 SUV…"

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "I know. Yeah, that might be a good idea. Something that can get all the stuff back. Going to LAX even in the disguises and the voice alterers, with a load of groceries to load in the fighter, will look, well… suspicious to ridiculous, depending."

Heather O'Leary smiles, "On a brighter note, I was able to get through to my CO
last night. He said that I was on indefinite leave, and not to worry about what we charged on the card, as long as it was for the Resistance. He got it approved, all the way up the Chain, to the President, to allow the Resistance to use the card, to make purchases, for things we need, such as clothes, weapons, ammo, vehicles, groceries, and the like. The president just wishes we had more Military personel with other Resistance groups, so they could get assistance from the Government." She sighs, and looks thoughtful, "We could get a squadship, and land it somewhere else, hide it, and than load it up with stuff, but landing in the middle of LA Park, or whereever, would still give the Visitors a chance to locate us. I'd like to just have to get around the City Limit's border patrol, and than have a much more free run to the ranch, that way."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "That's good. And yes, just get around the city border patrol, one of us would have to watch the air for patrols, we might need a sunroof or something for that… Too bad they don't make the explorers like they did on Jurassic Park, without having to go to a customization place… Having a full window on top would make it a lot easier to spot patrols in the air…"

Heather O'Leary chuckles, "Well, we could get a Fullsize truck, and a camper for the bed. They can instal a sun roof in a truck in 20 minutes." She leans back in her chair, after finishing her cheesecake, and looks thoughtful, "But we might want to get a used vehicle. New ones are too expensive, according to what I've heard. It wouldn't look right outside the city to have a brand new truck, or anything. Using a used one would be much more likely to be ignored. As for a full window, it also makes it easier to see what people are carrying. I wish we had air cover, but that would be dangerous, both for us and for the pilot." She shrugs.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "Get an old used clunker of some kind… Likely to ignore that."

Heather O'Leary nods, "But I want one that has a new engine in it. I don't want us to get half way up to the ranch, and have it break down. The body can be beat to hell, but the mechanical parts have to be in top shape." She looks thoughtful, "Wonder if Mr. Taylor might be able to find us someone with a good vehicle to sell?"

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "Don't know. You could probably ask him…

Heather O'Leary shakes her head, "I don't think I should talk to Mr. Taylor more than I have." She noticed Elias last night, and just because he acterd like a gentleman, she has bad feelings for his type. She sighs, "I don't know 'Liz'beth, something about him, makes me feel like I should lock up my China, and keep a close watch on my purse."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit. "Well, yeah, from what I know, he used to be that way. Probably knows all the chop shops around all of LA still. Might just want to look around, or look in the paper."

Heather O'Leary arches an eyebrow, "Chop Shops? He was a car thief?" She shakes her head, "Well, I did look in the paper, and well… there were a couple that looked promising, especially at one of the dealerships. 4 years old, needs body work, but the ad says it's got a new Engine." She shrugs, "And it is a 4X4, so I did call to see if they still had it, and they did promise to hold it, if I was there by 4PM to look at it." She shrugs again, "Call me crazy, but I am just fearful that we will have a repeat of the gun shop, and have someone that doesn't want to sell to me, because I am Military, but I don't have enough cash to buy the truck out of my own funds."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "That could be a problem… But if its wired to the systems well enough… what's the per-day limit? We could probably stop at a cash machine, depending."

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "We could… not sure what the per day limit is…" She looks at Willie, "Hey Willie, ask Mr. Taylor to come over, would ya?" Willie nods, and soon Elias walks over to the table, "You wanted to see me, ladies?"

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles. "Well, we could go to more than one, if the per day limit on the card is too low, its no good for this anyways…" She looks up, as Elias comes over. "Definitely."

Heather O'Leary takes a deep breath, and says, "I know this is going to sound bad… but how much do you have in the safe, Mr. Taylor? I need some cash, and I have a card that will let you charge it to the Military, but I don't want to use an ATM, as I'd have to go around to a lot of them." Elias looks thoughtful, "I have about 6 grand in cash. That enough?" Heather nods, and hands Elias the card, "If you could get it for me, and run this card through for that ammount? Put 'Vehicle' in the 'purchasing' entry, would you? Thanks." Elias moves away, runs the card, than brings Heather an envolope filled with the requested cash, as well as the reciept and card. "Sign that, leave it with Willie when you leave." He smiles, "Now, about that jobn offer…"

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit, looking over at Heather, her eyebrows bouncing once.

Heather O'Leary takes a deep breath, and shrugs, "Well… to be honest… I'm not sure. Maybe the next time I get into LA…" She tries to delay it, as long as she can.

Elias chuckles, and nods, "We'll talk than, I suppose." He flashes his winning grin, very Han Solo-ish, "See ya Ladies around." He winks at Heather, touches Liz on the shoulder, and than turns and walks over to the bar, making a phone call.

Heather O'Leary leans back, smiles slighlty, looking at Liz, "I think I evaded that question fairly well. You?"

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little. "Maybe… Depends on how eager he is to ask next time we come to town."

Heather O'Leary nods, smiling, "I'll just have to not come to LA for awhile. maybe I'll get lucky, and he'll forget. I know, not likely, but it is a possibility."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit. "Well, if it'd get more business, then the funding it brings to the Resistance would go up…"

Heather O'Leary narrows her eyes at Liz, and than says, innocently, "Why don't *you* dress like a tramp, and do it yourself than?" She smiles, and than stands up, "Let's go shopping"

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "All right."

* Later That Day *

Heather O'Leary steps into the dining room, wearing one of her new pairs of boots. She walks to Liz, "Well, the Truck's all loaded, except for the groceries, and anything you wanted to take. We'll stop on the way out of town, to get the grocieries. Especially the tolit paper, Tyler requested." She smiles and shakes her head.

Elizabeth Maxwell looks up what once was a large dinner, and smiles. "That's good to hear. I don't have really much to take, most of my stuff was already there, from previous trips…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "Well, not counting the few surprised I bought, is there anything you need? I did pack up your leather pants"

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles. "Thanks… No, there's nothing I need."

Heather O'Leary nods, "Than we should get some groceries, and consider heading back to the Ranch."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "All right."

Heather O'Leary grins at Elizabeth, and motions to the door, "Shall we hit the road?"

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles, getting up and heading for it. "Sure thing…"

You walk into 4th Street Alley.

Heather O'Leary points to the truck, and says, "Hop in. You'll find a Laser Rifle behind the seat. Miss Parrish said to take it, just in case."

Elizabeth Maxwell umms…

You say, "Maybe I'd be better off driving, and you shooting. I've never shot off anything bigger than a pistol, and my accuracy even with that is questionable."

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "Have you driven a truck this size before?" She motions to the Ford F-350 4X4 Dually.

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms… "Not quite that big, no. Might have a point. All right."
Heather O'Leary smiles, "If we need to shoot at something, we'll head for some trees, hide, and I'll use the Rifle." She climbs into the truck, and sits behind the wheel.

Elizabeth Maxwell hops in, and shuts the passenger door, looking out.
Heather O'Leary glances back, to see inside the camper, and smiles, "Tyler's going to be jealous. Have you seen what he uses to haul his stuff around?" She starts the truck, puts it in Gear, and drives it out of the alley, slowly, to merge with the traffic.

Elizabeth Maxwell shakes her head. "Not really, what?"

Heather O'Leary grins, "A rather beat up, 10 year old Van, that requires about 2 hours of Mechanical work, everytime he wants to drive it more than ten miles." She turns west, heading for the free way.

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "Lovely…"

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "So, where is a good, busy Grocery Store off the Freeeway? We have about three hundred bucks worth of groceries to buy."
Elizabeth Maxwell hmms… "Not sure what all stores there are, or how much trouble they'll have. Usually the megamart off exit 326 has one, that should be along the way…

Heather O'Leary nods, and murges onto the freeway, cursing a driver that almost killed themselves, "Damned Yuppies and their sportscars. At least we have alot of metal around us.

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "That's always useful…

Heather O'Leary smiles, luckily no one else gets in her way as she picks up speed, and is soon going 10 MpH over the legal limit. It doesn't take long for the truck to get to Exit 326, and Heather moves the truck into the exit, and slows way down.

Heather O'Leary pulls into Megamart's parking lot, and sighs, "Time to see how much groceries went up." She chuckles, and shrugs, "Oh well, Uncle Sam's paying, so at least we should be able to get what we need, for a couple weeks."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "Probably went up some… And I hope we should be able to get what we need…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "As long as they have it in stock… Ham said something about making sure to stock up on T.P. and Beer. Sounds like he is planning a party, and to T.P. the Mothership, after he's drunk." She grins, kill the engine, and starts to open the door of the truck.

Elizabeth Maxwell rolls her eyes. "Uh-huh…" She hops out. "What all else is on the list?"

Heather O'Leary hops out of the truck, "You name it, and they want it… but most important, he said, was to make sure we bought canned goods, and little refrigerated products. Milk, some fresh veggies, 50 pounds of Hamburger, and some chicken, are all the frozen, or refrigerated items, on the list."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "All right. I cna imagine how much of some of that we'll need, did you think about stopping at an appliance store as well?"

Heather O'Leary locks the truck, double checks the camper's lock, and looks at Liz, "For another refrigerator? Well, we could buy one,but getting it into the Truck, with the bed full with other stuff, might be a challenge. Unless you meant a small one?"

Elizabeth Maxwell shrugs. "I'm just considering the possibilities, and logistics of packing a lot of things into the one, and the bigger freezer downstairs. It might be interesting… You're probably right about it not fitting in with all the stuff."

Heather O'Leary nods, "On the next trip… or we can see if we can find one of those Walk-in Freezer's Motors, and see about building one in the basement of the ranch… Wouldn't be that hard, just have to lay some sheet metal on the walls, floor, and ceiling, Install the Freezer Motor, and get the freezer airtight. It'd be easy to get Mr. Taylor to order one for us, since he has a Walk-in Freezer at the Resturant." She moves to the door of the Supermarket, ignoring the one Visitor that is walking out, with a case of beer, and a couple bottles of wine.

Heather O'Leary looks thoughtful, "Or… well, there are likely a few abondnoned Convience stores all near the ranch… we could borrow the equipment in their coolers."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "That might be a good idea…" She pauses a little, not giving much of a look, but noticing nonetheless, the departing Visitor. "Looks like someone else is planning a party as well…" She nods a bit. "Possibly."

Heather O'Leary smiles, "We'll have to scope that out later." She enters the store and smiles, "Let's see how happy we can make the others. Look for harder to get items, like Salt." She winks, grabs a cart, pushes it to liz, and grabs one for herself.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods, taking the cart, and looking towards the aisle where the salt is.

Heather O'Leary pushes her full cart to the checkout line, and smiles at the checker, "Both these carts are mine." The checker's eyes go wide, than shrugs, and begans scanning the items, one by one. Everyone behind Heather and Liz looks resigned to a long wait.

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "They're both ours, but maybe if we just passed the card between, and checked out at 2 separate aisles, it might be less stress on everyone else…"

Heather O'Leary nods, and hands a card to Liz, "When they are ready, just let me know. I'll come over at Sign for it." She smiles, and sees a few magazines at the counter, they look a little old, but she grabs one of each kind and places it on top of the cart, "Late night reading."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods, and takes the card, moving to another aisle, and starting to unload.

Heather O'Leary waits for the total, swipes the card on the automated Card Reader, and than signs the slip. She moves her cart to the front of Liz's Line, waiting at the end, and smiles, thinking that the President may regret his words about letting the Resistance use the cards for things they need.

Elizabeth Maxwell grins a little at Heather.

Elizabeth Maxwell grins a little at Heather, and swipes the card, sliding the slip over to her, when checkout is done. "Well, this covers pretty much all of it…"

Heather O'Leary nods, signs Liz's slip, and nods, "Lets go load the truck, and see if we have room for anything else." She says softly.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "All right…" She takes the cart for the exit, to go load the truck.

Heather O'Leary unlocks the trucks camper, opens it, and fits everything in her and Liz's cart in the camper. She smiles, "Well, we still have the entire back seat, so if there is something else we need, now would be a good time to…" She pauses, and looks up the street, seeing an Electronics Store. She grins, "Great! Music and a Computer."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "That would be definitely nice…"

Heather O'Leary climbs into the truck, starts it up, and as soon as Liz gets in, she moves it down the street to the Electronics Store. She hands Liz 400 Dollars, "Get some Games and some Music CDs. Look for anything by Sarah Brightman, for me. At least 'Dive'." She herself moves off to the 'major' appliance area, looking over the Computers.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods. "All right…" She wanders off into the music section, grabbing a couple Brightman CDs, making sure Dive is on one, then picks up a few others she knows some other people like, then a few 90's country CDs, and greatest hits collection from the '80s, for her herself, making sure she has enough other stuff to keep the group at large satisfied.

Heather O'Leary motions to one computer, gets the box, and a monitor, placed in her cart. She than moves over to the Stero section, and buys a couple stero systems, and a couple portable Boom Boxes. On her way by Liz, she asks, "How would you like a room mate? The spare bedroom is nice, but we may need it. We can move a cot, or something into your room, for me, and we can make sure we hide some of our stuff, so the others don't borrow it."

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms and nods… "We'd need another bed in there, it might get a little crowded, but there'd be a bit of space left over…"

You say, "A cot would be a little small for someone of your size, though…"

Heather O'Leary smiles, "A cot is all I need. At least for now, it is better than what I had at Boot Camp." She motions Liz over to the Computer Games section, "Whatever looks good." She moves to the 'small refrigerators' and finds one that will fit easily in a corner, big enough to store sodas or bottles of water, and it even has a small freezer, so popsicles or smaller ice cream containers can be stored, frozen.

Heather O'Leary finally grabs a multi-disk CD Car Stero for the truck, but pays for it, out of her cash, since it is for 'her' truck, and not really required by the resistance.

Elizabeth Maxwell looks through the game section, snagging Starfleet Command, USAF, MS Flight Simulator Pro, and a Sim City game or two, and a couple decent looking 'shooters' for some of the ones wanting to shoot something. "Some of these will need joysticks to work right…"

You say, "This stuff is for all the resistance, though, not just you and I, of course… I'm getting stuff I think the other people will like, for some…"
Elizabeth Maxwell smiles a little bit.

Heather O'Leary walks back by Liz, and nods, "Well, grab a couple." She grabs a game called Diablo for herself, and also one called Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods, going over and finding one of the Saitek good joysticks, with a two piece combo for stick and throttle, for the flight sims.

You say, "I figure the flight simulators and the good joystick are /definite/ for the Resistance, I'm sorta hoping it'll be marginally decent for trying to train new possible pilots partially…"

Heather O'Leary looks at liz, "Well, they are marginally decent, in some respects. I might be able to get the Marine's to send me one of their Computer Flight Sims, which would be more useful, eventually… but for now, the latest Flight Simulator Pro will be good enough."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods. "All right. I suppose the marine one would be better for per plane based ones…" She sets USAF back, just getting MS Pro. "This should be it…"

Heather O'Leary nods, and looks thoughtful, "Well, we can always come back for more later."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "All right…"

Heather O'Leary looks at Liz, "Well, we should consider getting this stuff paid for, and than heading out." She mentally adds up the tally of Liz's purchases, and hands her a little more money, since computer games are expensive.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "All right…" She pauses at the money. "Not going to put this to the card? Not even the expensive ones? I have enough for the others, they were all in the cheaper aisle…"

Heather O'Leary hrms, and nods, "Yeah, we coulkd definately put the Flight Sim on the card, and the joystick. Just hold on to the money, in case we see something on the way back we want to stop for. It's not like I'll need money up at the ranch."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "All right…"

You say, "Flight simulator Pro was over 100, and the Joystick nearly 100, by themselves…"

Heather O'Leary moves to the checkout, pays for the stuff, and declines the assistance of a carryout. She doesn't think she wants more people than needed to see the large amounts of stuff Liz and her have bought in the last 24 hours. She has the stuff loaded, by the time Liz gets out, and seems to be fiddling with the Car Stero, getting it installed, which, she says to Liz, "It's alot easier than installing the one I did in my Harrier."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "You installed a stereo into a military vehicle?"

Heather O'Leary nods, "Gota have good music when I fly into Combat. It helps my timing. Imagine Gun And Roses, when bearing down on a MiG…" She grins, and sings, only slightly off-Key, "You could be mi-ine! But your way out of li-ine."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit.

Heather O'Leary makes a final few adjustments to the Stero, and looks at liz, "Pick some music out, and lets roll."

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "Any preference in music type?"

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "Anything but Rap."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "I'd never pick Rap out, for certain…" She sticks in a Chris LeDoux CD, and cues it up.

Heather O'Leary grins, pulls out of the electronics store, and rolls down the windows, while turning up the stero.
Heather O'Leary has left.

Heather O'Leary starts to sing along, as she merges back onto the freeway, the wind whipping her hair around in the truck. She checks the back seat to make sure nothing looks like it is dangerously going to move around, and than heads off for the City Limits. Over the music, "Allright, you'll have to let me know, when we need to consider going offroad to get past the border patrol."

Heather O'Leary flips a switch on her commlink.

Heather O'Leary glances at Liz, to make sure she heard her over the music.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little bit. "All rioght… I'll watch…"

Heather O'Leary smiles, and continues on, getting closer to the outskirts. She turns down the music a little, and asks Liz, "Is something wrong Liz'beth?"

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles and shakes her head. "Not really… Just thinking. Too many interesting times in town, of the wrong kind, at times. Sorry about last night in the club."

Heather O'Leary shakes her head, and pats Liz on the shoulder, "Not to worry." She smiles at Liz, and slows down a tad, feeling that she is too close to the border to go too fast, "Look at it this way, it gave me a chance to discover I am still attractive to men, and I also got to work out a little agression on those two idiots."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles. "I'm surprised if you thought you weren't still attractive to men. In regards to what you asked at lunch, the reason I wouldn't dress like a tramp and take up the offer from Elias, is that I wouldn't draw in the people, I don't look as good as you do…"

Heather O'Leary arches an eyebrow, "Liz, honey, you are much better looking than I am. Me, I need clothes to make people look twice… You, just have to walk into a room." She pauses, and smiles, "And with the right clothes, you'd have to beat the men off with a stick."

Elizabeth Maxwell blushes a little bit, her cheeks turning an odd color as she does. "That's nice of you to say that…."

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "It's the truth." She keeps to herself, her own thoughts on Liz, because she doesn't want to scare her away, with such 'different' thoughts. She says to Liz, "Honey, if I was male, I'd be trying to hook up with you, evety chance I had."

Elizabeth Maxwell blushes a little more. "You mean you don't plan to anyways?"

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles just a little bit.

Heather O'Leary goes completely pale, not realizing she had let it show, "Umm… ahh… well…" She blushes, which really makes her paleness odd, and she says softly, "I… I didn't know it showed…"

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit. "Not really, don't worry about it…"

Heather O'Leary takes a couple deep breaths, than sighs, "I suppose you'd rather not have me in your room now. I can understand that." She still isn't sure how Liz picked up on her thoughts, but she resigns herself, "And if you want to stay away from me, I'll understand. My… leanings are not well known, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell everyone though."

Elizabeth Maxwell shakes her head. "Relax…They're still not well known, and I won't tell anyone. I think I know where I can get an actual bed, though, rather than a cot… If they're moved close enough together, the beds won't take up so much of the rest of the room. I don't even have half the closet filled, anyways…"

Heather O'Leary tries to calm down, but the mention of having the beds close, she blushes again, and says softly, "If you are sure… I won't argue." She glances at Liz, and than promises, "I'll be the perfect lady. You won't even notice me, if you don't want to."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles. "I don't mind noticing you. I'm your friend…"
Heather O'Leary smiles, "I'm glad." She notices the cars slowing down in the distance, and than turns deadly derious, "We must be getting close."
Elizabeth Maxwell looks up, and nods. "You should start getting off road in the next couple miles."

Heather O'Leary nods, takes the first exit, into a subdivision, and slows down, "Allright, we have to stop, and set the truck up for 4 wheel drive." She puts the truck in park, gets out, and locks the wheels, so they are engaged to the drive shaft. She gets back in, takes a couple deep breaths, and than smiles, "Now to find the best way past the patrols."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods, groaning a little bit as the locks are set. "Didn't get auto-locking hubs, huh?"

Heather O'Leary shakes her head, "Unfortuneately, it didn't come equipped." She slips the truck into drive, engaging the four wheel capacity, and than looks around for the back of the subdivision, where an open field might be around, with no roads, and some cover.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods, looking around.

Heather O'Leary finds the back of the subdivision, kills the lights on the truck, and moves through someones yard, and into the open field. She pulls out a pair of Nightvision goggles, slips them on her head, and than motions to the glove box, "There is another pair in there." She slows way down, to about 10 MpH, so as to have time to stop suddenly, if she has to, "Keep an eye out, would you?" She turns the stero off completely, and breathes slowly and easiely, as this is the most dangerous part of their trip. Her hand moves to her jacket, and she places her pistol on the seat, at her side, Just in case.

Elizabeth Maxwell gets into the glovebox, putting the other pair on. "I'll keep watching…" She gets her own pistol out, just in case, as well, holding the small laser on one leg, just watching, in case something happens.

After about an hour of moving across the field, Heather runs across a dirt road, that looks like it leads back to the freeway.

Heather O'Leary siles, turns onto the dirtroad, and turns the headlights back on, after warning Liz to remove the night vision glasses, and doing the same. Shortly they are back at the freeeway, with alot fewer cars around. She turns the radio back on, but she doesn't drive to fast, hoping to not attract any attention.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles, watching, and taking them off. "Nice work…"

Heather O'Leary chuckles and grins, "I do my best. Comes from flying blind many times." She chuckles, "Allright, now I know we are getting close… maybe we should warn the ranch we are coming?"

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles a little bit. "Ah… Well, it might be an idea… They'll probably wonder about a vehicle coming up, if we haven't called…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "I don't know about you, but I'd rather not be met in a hail of bullets. It's a nice truck, and wouldn't lookright with bullet holes."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "Might not work too well with holes in the radiator, either."

Heather O'Leary chuckles, well, more like a giggle, and nods, "Not to mention how we'd look, with bullet holes in our new clothes."

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Heather O'Leary> Hey Tyler, you listening?
- EOT -

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "Or in us…"

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Ham Tyler> *muttered curses* Yeah, what is it O'Leary? You going to be coming back soon, if so, good. We have some unexpected guests coming up towards the Ranch in a vehicle, at the moment, so forgive me if I am a little terse.
- EOT -

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Heather O'Leary> *laughing* The guests are me and Elizabeth. We figured it safer to drive back, rather than fly. Besides, if … act that way, I'll take your beer and Toliet paper back to LA, and give them to some bum on the street.
- EOT -

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Ham Tyler> *the smirk is almost visible in his voice* If it is you coming up the road, flash your bright lights a couple times. And if you take my TP back to LA, I'll make sure you get sent to Diana, with a ribbon.
- EOT -

Heather O'Leary smirks at the radio conversation, and flashes her lights a couple times. "Better?" she asks into the radio.

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Heather O'Leary> Better? *the lights on the truck flashes a couple times*
- EOT -

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs…

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Ham Tyler> Yeah. Glad to see you are back.
- EOT -

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Ham Tyler> … BTW, Elizabeth, you listening?
- EOT -

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Elizabeth Maxwell> … Yes.,
- EOT -

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Ham Tyler> Good, while you guys finish your trip, I need you to consider moving your stuff into the Master Bedroom, along with Heather's stuff. We are running out of room, and I was hoping you two wouldn't mind sharing a room? It is your house, so Gooder and I wanted to run it by you, before we made any changes.
- EOT -

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Elizabeth Maxwell> Fine by me. We were going to try moving another bed into my room, but the master bedroom will fit two people a lot better.
- EOT -

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Ham Tyler> That was the idea. I'll move my stuff into the Spare Bedroom by the time you get back.
- EOT -

[Ch: 66.60] -
<Ham Tyler> Base camp out.
- EOT -

Heather O'Leary glances at Liz, and arches an eyebrow, "Well, that will make thingsmuch easier. Not so much to cram together." She pulls into the Ranch's driveway, and slowly moves up it, to the Ranch House, stopping by the front door.
Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "And the entire king sized bed, with just us to sleep in it."

Heather O'Leary arches an eyebrow, wondering if Liz really wants to sleep in the same bed as her, but she remains quiet, but does give a slight smile. She kills the engine, and gets out of the truck, stretching. "Next time, you drive."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little. "All right, I'll drive next time…"

Ham Tyler comes down the steps, and nods to Liz and Heather, "Welcome back." He looks the truck over, and frowns, "Had to get better wheels than me, eh Heather?"

Elizabeth Maxwell looks to Ham, then to Heather, and laughs a little bit.

Heather O'Leary smiles at Liz, "I'll make sure we show you how it drives, so you get comfrtable." She looks at Ham, "Yeah well. You know me. By the way, we'd better get the Mil, meat, and Vegtables unloaded, and in the refrigerator, before they spoil." She leans over towards Liz, and says, "I told you he would be jealous."

Ham Tyler nods, and motions to a couple resistance memebers, "Start unloading the truck." He moves to Heather, and Liz, and smiles, "So, what else did you bring back?"

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "A little of everything, and a small refrigerator to put some of it in."

Heather O'Leary reaches into the truck, pulls out a bag, and reaches into the bag. She pulls out a CD, a 'Queen' CD, from the Movie, Highlander, and hands it to Ham, "A little of this and That." She looks at the resistance members, "Leave the suitcases, I'll get them myself." She grabs one of the ones not un;loading things, and opens the back door, "The computer, Refrigerator, and one of the Stero systems go in the master bedroom. The rest, put in the living room." She motions to the Resistance member carrying in the Dr. Pepper, "Master bedroomn with that. It's mine."

Ham Tyler takes the CD, and chuckles, "How did you know I'd lost my other copy? Thanks." He arches an eyebrow, and says, "I didn't know you robbed Electronics stores, and Grocery stores, as a hobby."

Elizabeth Maxwell looks over at Heather, then laughs a little harder. "You think I'd be an accessory to robbing grocery or electronics stores, Ham?"

Heather O'Leary grins, "I'm a woman of many talents… and many resources." She holds up the Military Credit cards, and Smiles, knowing Ham has seen em before.

Ham Tyler shrugs, "Well, if you didn't see it Beth…" He pauses, and than nods, as he sees what Heather holds up, "I see." He shrugs, "Well, let me help unload, and you two go inside, and get set up in the Master bedroom." With that, Ham moves to the truck, and pitches in, helping out.

Elizabeth Maxwell Walks back to the truck as well, to get something big, to get unloaded.

Heather O'Leary grabs a couple suitcases, as the back of the truck is quickly unloaded. She smiles at Liz, and says to her, softly, "Wait til Ham sees some of the Groceries we brought back. We may be assigned to 'Grocery' detail alot..

Elizabeth Maxwell groans a little. "That's just what we need…" She grins a little bit. "It'll be nice to start eating some of it…"

Heather O'Leary locks up the truck, after it is unloaded, places her gun in her holster, and moves, with her suitcases into the house, "Eating it is the best part." She moves towards the master bedroom, hoping therte are enough hangers to hang up her new clothes.

Ham Tyler comes out of the house, as the last of the stuff comes in. "I'll be down by the Fighters. Heather, in the morning, we should move your truck down there too."

Heather O'Leary nods to Ham, on her way through the door, "Will do." She holds the door open for Liz, and follows her in.

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs, picking up some of the stuff for the bedroom, and heading for it as well. "Actually, you should kick Donovan in the ass about that, Ham. Remember what I said about those getting us air attacked? We need to taxi them into the barn…"

You say, "Maybe Heather could do it…" She smiles ot Heather, and slips for the door. "Thanks…"

Ham Tyler nods, "I did kick him. He's trying to decide if we should just build a big barn there, or actually try and squeeze the ships into the barn. I'll bug him again later." With that, he heads down to the Ships, and relaxes there.

Ham Tyler moves west.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods..

Heather O'Leary winks at Liz, and shrugs, as Ham walks away.

Elizabeth Maxwell shrugs as well, grinning and heading in.

You walk into Ranch House.

Heather O'Leary walks in from Main Yard.

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "You did get networking cable with the computer, right? It could probably link up to the one in my room…"

Heather O'Leary glances into the Kitchen, than the living room, as many resistanc emembers are smiling, and working to set the new stuff up, or put it away. She turns for the back of the house, and the bedrooms. She calls out to the people, "Enjoy, compliments of the President." A couple call out, "Remind me to vote for him, next time around." She looks at Liz, and shakes her head, "I didn't know you had a networking card." She shrugs, "I guess maybe we could ask Felix to pick some up, he's likely still in LA."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "I might have something from the box, if not, I could probably get it on another trip."

Heather O'Leary nods, and moves to the bedroom.
Heather O'Leary moves east.

You walk into Master Bedroom.

Elizabeth Maxwell follows in, looking around.

Heather O'Leary steps into the room, and glances around, seeing boxes lined up along one wall. She moves to one of the closests, and sets down her suitcases. "First things first, Set up the stero, so we have some music while we do everything else."

Heather O'Leary quickly changes her clothes (OOC And her desc), and lets her hair down.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles a little bit, watching that, and settles in onto the bed a little. "Which side of the bed do you want?"

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "Either side." She smiles, and looks around the room, spying a closed door. She moves to the door, opens it, and grins, "No sharting of a bathroom with anyone but each other. luxery at last."

Elizabeth Maxwell grins a little bit. "Just keep shower times separate…"

Heather O'Leary laughs, a tad nervously, "Yeah…" After a pause she chuckles softly, "Tyler sure is alot cleaner than I expected hium to be." She closes the bathroom door, and than moves to Liz, "I… You are not uncomfortable around me, because of… what I am?"

Elizabeth Maxwell shakes her head. "Not as long as you aren't uncomfortable around me. Some people are, even if they don't admit it, still."

Heather O'Leary shakes her head, "No… You know my intimate secret, and you are still willing to be near me, knowing my thoughts about you… How could the fact that you are not fully human compare to that?" She grins, "In fact, that might be part of wehat attracted me to you, in the first place."

Elizabeth Maxwell blushes a little bit, again.

Heather O'Leary says softly, "Sorry… I'll try not to mention that again, if it bothers you." She turns to the stereo box, and slowly begins to unwrap the components, and set them up on a dresser.

Elizabeth Maxwell shakes her head. "It doesn't bother me. Just that I'm sometimes a little shy."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles a little.

Heather O'Leary smiles back at Liz, "I am too… Sometimes." She plugs the components in to one another, and than looks around for a good place to place each of the four speakers.

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms, looking around the base of the wall, and brings the antenna cord up. I haven't checked lately to see if all the comm satellites were shot down, do you know? The dish might work if they haven't been…"

Heather O'Leary chuckles, "Probably haven't shot them all down. Cell phones still work, and the internet is still up, although, it is not a good idea to think the Visitors can't get into the internet, and see what is being sent back and forth… hence why the Government keeps all it's files on an offline network. No outside access."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods. "I figure they're on the Internet already. Lucky for me, I kept my email name something totally unrelated.

Heather O'Leary chuckles, "Mine is gro.eniram|anehta#gro.eniram|anehta… I should really think about checking it."

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms. "Mine's ten.llebcap|trebgod#ten.llebcap|trebgod. And I should probably check as well."

Heather O'Leary finally figutes out where to place the speakers… one in each corner of the room, on little brackets included with the system, to wall mount the speakers. She starts to install the brackets and looks over at Liz, "Mind holding this bracket for a minute, while I get the screw in?"

Elizabeth Maxwell nods, taking the bracket. "All right…"

Heather O'Leary tightens the screw, and than checks the speaker for fit, it fits nicely. So she moves around the room, with Liz's help, installs all the speakers, "Dogbert, eh? Where did you come up with that one?"

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "Don't read the comics at all?"

Heather O'Leary looks thoughtful, "Umm… Mostly just Peanuts, Hagar the Horrible, Family Circus, and Beetle Bailey."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "Ah. the one I got it from is Dilbert."

Heather O'Leary nods, chuckling, "I glance at that one from time to time." She gets the speakers installed, runs the wiring, and than checks out the FRN, Freedom Radio Network, and smiles as they finish playing 'Take me down to Paradise City', and she chuckles, "Where would that be now, eh Axel?"

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "Dilbert is pretty funny if you read it regularly. I could probably mark names to most of the characters, both here in camp, and from when I was stuck up on the LA mothership, over a year ago, both."

Heather O'Leary chuckles, "Well, just call me Beetle… I like my sleep, and I am hard to wake up."

Heather O'Leary hrms, "Maybe you should call me Snoopy's red-headed aunt…" She grins.

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs.

Heather O'Leary sits down on the floor, her back against the bed. She seems to veg out for a moment, lost in thought on where to place things, and what to work on next. After a fes minutes, "Well, should we go move your stuff from your old room, into here?"

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms… "I suppose it couldn't hurt…"

You say, "I probably will leave the Computer in there…""

Heather O'Leary stands up, "Likely Ham has someone waiting to move in, so we should go ahead. That way, if the person is not a night owl, they might get to sleep sometime tonight." She shakes her head, "Actually, put the computer out in the Living Room. Let the others use it too. I'll drop the games off out there, except for the ones you wantt brought in here."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "All right…"

You say, "The computer out there is old enough it might not handle Flight Simulator, though…"

Heather O'Leary moves to help Liz move her stuff. She nods, "Well, we'll check it out. If it won't handle it, we'll get it upgraded, or get another computer for out there."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "All right…" She heads for the hall. "I'm hoping to use that to learn a little for myself…"

Heather O'Leary smiles, "Well, I can show you, on the real thing, if you'd like."

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles… "That might be nice… thanks."

Heather O'Leary smiles, "Not a problem" When they get to Liz's old room, she moves to the closet, to carry the clothing.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles a bit, picking things up off the dresser, and putting them into a little basket from a drawer, to take in, so she can take a couple things from the drawers, as well.

Heather O'Leary puts the clothes in the spare closet, and makes another trip, this time cleaning the closet out of bags of dtuffed animals, and a few other miscellanious things.

Elizabeth Maxwell comes back and cleans her drawers out, bringing everything in, and hanging it up or putting it in the big dresser, looking around at how things are setting up.

Heather O'Leary makes one last trip, making sure nothing of Liz's is left in the other room. She even takes down the pictures from the walls. She goes out into the Living room, briefly and says, "Someone come get the Computer from Elizabeth's old room, and than, whomever is going to be sleeping in there, can move in." She moves backto the room she is now sharing with Liz, closes the door, locks it, and piles the last of the stuff in the center of the room, for Liz to look through.

Elizabeth Maxwell looks at the load, and starts sorting it to put away, quickly dwindling the pile down, to get rid of it. "Hmm. Looks like it won't be too bad to fit us in…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "Well, at least we will be able to stretch, without bumping noses… or other things." She turns, and places the refrigerator in a corner, plugs it in, and lets it cool off.

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little bit. "Don't worry. I don't mind if we bump."

Heather O'Leary smiles, and nods, moving to the last of the non-clothing stuff that was brought into the room, the computer. She looks around for a place to set up, having not noticed a desk earlier… she still doesn't. "Oops," she says, grinning.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles.. "There's a desk in the corner for the computer…"

Elizabeth Maxwell lays down onto the bed, after finishing putting her stuff away, looking around.

Heather O'Leary moves the computer to the desk, and sets it up, "Well, everything is done." She lets the system boot for the first time, and moves to the bed, laying back for a minute or two.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles, laying back onto the pillows. "This could work out really nice…"

Heather O'Leary rolls over slightly, making sure she isn't taking up the middle of the bed, and smiles at Liz, "I hope it does." She scoots up the bed, so she is restng on a pillow, and hits a button on the Radio's remote control, turning down the volume, so as not to bother others in the house.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles a little, settling back further.

Heather O'Leary closes her eyes for a few minutes, and just relaxs, taping her hand in time to the music, but otherside, just enjoying the soft feel of the bed, and Liz's company.

Elizabeth Maxwell turns over a little bit, adjusting her position on the bed, turning to face the middle.

Heather O'Leary feels the moment, and opens her eyes briefly, glancing over at Liz, and she smiles at her. Her eyes close again, and she doesn't appear like she is really wanting to move from the bed. It is more comfortable than the one in the Spare Bedroom, or the one she had at the HQ in LA last night.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles back, this bed being definitely more comfortable than her usual bed, as well, she yawns a tiny bit, covering her mouth, to hide her tongue curling upward as her mouth widens.

Heather O'Leary sits up, and moves her neck in a circle, rubbing out the kinks, "I think I'll get a quick shower, than see about putting my clothes away."
Elizabeth Maxwell nods, smiling a little. "All right. I might get one when you're done, kinda hard to shower decently at the LA headquarters…"

Heather O'Leary nods, and stands up. "Very true." She moves to the closet, and finds a robe. Slowly she removes her shirt, shorts, and Panties, placing them next to her bags. She moves to the bathroom, and turns on the shower, leaving the door to the bedroom slightly open, so she can hear Liz, if she talks to her, and hear the music, faintly.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles a little bit, watching idly, and sitting back to listen to the showering.

Heather O'Leary steps into the shower, and lets out a sigh. She lets the water run over her body, before looking uyp, and noticing the Massage Head on the shower. She laughs, and turns it on, and says loudly, so Liz can hear, "I could definately get used to this."

Elizabeth Maxwell laugbs. "I don't doubt it… We might need to get a bigger water heater of too many start getting used to it, though…"

Heather O'Leary grins, and it shows in her voice, "Well, we'll just mount it, so the hot water comes in this room first." She soaps up her hair, a long process, for her.

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little. "I'm not sure what the water heater is set for, even… I should probably check it… If we get a new one, we could get a bigger one for the other bathroom…"

Heather O'Leary nods, continuing to soap her hair, and letting the water massage her neck as she does. "Well, it is something to consider, but for tonight, I just hope no one else decides to shower, while I am."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "Yeah, I agree. If we got the bigger one only for the other ones, we probably could keep the one for ourselves…"

Heather O'Leary nods, "Something like that." She finishes the shampooing of her hair, and lets the water sluice her hair empty of soap, and repeats. :Remind me to stock up on shampoo though… I have to use alot of it."

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little. "All that pretty hair, I don't doubt it. We'll have to go into town whenever it needs to be permed or otherwise kept up, decently…"

Heather O'Leary shrugs slightly, reaching for the conditioner, "Perms and my hair don't mix. I usually braid it, if I am going to be out doing anything, but I like it straight."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little bit… "Oh… I didn't know that. Sorry. Well, that makes it a little easier, then…"

Heather O'Leary chuckles, rinsing her hair clean, and than moving it over her shoulder, out of the way, "Not really something I thought of, though… Maybe I should cut it… otherwise, it could just end up getting in the way."

Elizabeth Maxwell shakes her head a little, though Heather can't see it. "I dunno. Braiding it probably would keep it out of your way… you have pretty hair, I'd hate to see it get sheared off a lot…

Heather O'Leary grins, and nods, "Very true, I'd probably have to be tied down, and have it done where I couldn't see who did it. Thelast time I went to get my hair cut short, I actually decked the stylist… she was not happy. I can handle trims, but nothing more than an inch." She soaps up her body, letting the water clean it off, as soon as the lather hits.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles. "Well, that's good, then…"

Heather O'Leary laughs, "Good that I decked the chick, or good that I can handle trims?" She is finished soaping herself, and just leans against the shower wall, letting the water beat down on her back, the massage head helping work the kinks out of her back, from the long drive.

You say, "Good that you know not to trim too much off…"

Heather O'Leary stands up, and reaches to turn off the shower. She opens the door, and steps onto the floor rug. She reaches for a towel, and calls out, "Shower's all yours." As she begins to dry herself off.

Elizabeth Maxwell smiles, getting her own robe, and stripping down.

Heather O'Leary watches Liz, out of the corner of her eye, admiring her nakedness. She continues to dry herself, as Liz has to walk towards her.

Elizabeth Maxwell puts her robe on, not giving off any indication if she sensed herself being watched while naked. She just puts it on, ties it, and smiles at Heather, on her way in, leaving the door all the way open, as she slips her robe off, and climbs into the shower itself, closing the door.

Heather O'Leary's eyes follow Liz, but not obviously. She finishes drying off, and pulls her own robe on, tying it closed, loosely, and moves to sit at the computer, with a towel wrapping her hair up.

Elizabeth Maxwell turns the shower on, stretching out and relaxing in the warm water, as she picks up her washcloth, and starts soaping it, to start scrubbing down.

Heather O'Leary starts programming her Marine Internet connection into the system, and downloads a quick firewall, and installs it, before checking her email. She starts reading the first one, from an old friend, who had heard she was shot down, and wanted to know if it was true.

Elizabeth Maxwell keeps showering, quietly, a little steam wafting into the main room, from the shower, as she scrubs down, and gets herself clean.

Heather O'Leary glances over her shoulder, as she smiles in Liz's direction, and replys to the first email. The second and third are much the same, and she fires off the same basic email, with some personalisations. She gets to the end of her email, and loads up a Browser, and strats browsing Anti-Visitor web sites. She laughs loudly, and bookmarks one, it has some faked 'Nudes' of Diana, Lydia, and other Visitors.

Elizabeth Maxwell keeps showering quietly, till someone elsewhere in the house turns either the other shower or the washing machine on, at which point a distinct half-hiss/half-gasp can be heard from the shower, as the water suddenly changes temperature radically, for a few seconds, before returning, as if it was a sink, that had been turned off. "I was afraid of that… It must be getting low, everyone else probably showered while we were gone…"

Heather O'Leary calls out, "Probably… too bad they didn't listen to see if anyone else was showering. Well, I'll send Talos down tomorrow to pick up another heater."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little. "Make sure its nice and big. I'd rather have one that's a little boo big than one that's too small. If they make one that's really too big…"

Heather O'Leary laughs, as she book marks the website, emailing it to a list of her friends, including, little does Liz know, Liz. "Is there such a thing as too *much* hot water?"

Elizabeth Maxwell calls out. "I don't think so, actually. But there's probably such a thing as one that'll be too big to fit in the basement, and need remodeling…"

Heather O'Leary laughs, and chuckles, continuing to browse, "Oh my god… Did you know Tyler had a website? It's called 'How to make Luggage'"

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs. "Tyler is high tech enough to make his own web site? I never would've imagined…"

Heather O'Leary shrugs, "Maybe he paid someone else to. Who knows. It's an interesting site."

Elizabeth Maxwell shakes her head. "Probably someone else here did it for him."

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "Well, I wonder…" She does a search for ten.llebcap|trebgoD#ten.llebcap|trebgoD… just out of curiousity…

Heather O'Leary pulls up the Site, and leans back, to look it over. Her screen loads the site, and she looks at it.

Heather O'Leary looks it over, and chuckles softly, pulling up a link, and sees 'creative use of superglue' She reads it over, "Use 2310: Denture adhesive." smirk, "2311: Temporary Post-it-note replacement."

Heather O'Leary shrugs, and finally goes back to a search page, and leans back, searching for a special site she knows about, and hopes the Lizards haven't broken the encryption package, yet.

Heather O'Leary calls up a web site, that shows pictures of people she knows, and she looks at them contently.

Elizabeth Maxwell finishes up with her shower, toweling off, and getting out, stretching all the way out, after getting onto the rug, before putting her robe on.

Heather O'Leary glances over her shoulder, and asks, "Feel better?"

Elizabeth Maxwell nods. "A lot better now…"

Heather O'Leary turns off the browser, "Here, feel free to check your email." She moves to the bed, grabbing one of the magazines, and lays down to read it, watching out of the corner of her eye, to see if Liz calls up the site she emailed to her.

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little bit, logging on and checking mail, and peeking around it, not that she gets a whole lot of email, but the one from Heather makes her stop, and she goes to look, letting out a distinct snort at the pictures that come up.

Heather O'Leary grins, but pretends not to notice. She flips through a newsweek, and reads up on a article all about herself. "What the? Freedom Network Medal of Valor winner? When did I get that? And why the hell for?" She continues reading, and frowns slightly.

Elizabeth Maxwell laughs a little. "Yeah, I saw that… You got really made out to be a hero, all across the freedom network…

Heather O'Leary frowns, "Martyr is mor like it. The report says I am dead."

Elizabeth Maxwell hmms… "Well, they had no way of knowing…"

Heather O'Leary nods slightly, "I can understand that… however, everyone of the pilots in my squadron deserves the same accolades they passed on to me." She closes her eyes, and softly says, "Especially the ones that didn't survive."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods… "I know… I'm sorry…"

Heather O'Leary shakes her head quickly, and rolls over, so Liz doesn't see her wipe her eyes. She remains quiet, for a few minutes, and than, with forced cheerfulness, "At least they attributed more kills to me, than I remember getting."

Elizabeth Maxwell sighs, walking over, and wrapping an arm around Heather's shoulder.
You say, "I know you miss them… I understand…."

Heather O'Leary lets herself be comforted, but can not let herself forget, so she does the next best thing, the same reaction most Military people have to loosing someone, she takes a deep breath, lets out a few tears, than closes her eyes, and lays down, "I… I think I should go to sleep, I think it's the strain of a long day getting to me."

Elizabeth Maxwell nods a little bit, willing to accept the excuse, even if its not true. She rubs Heather's back some, to get some of the tenseness off it, trying to help her rest.
